Our Mission

African Community Health Institute (ACHI), a nonprofit, organization, founded in 2005 to provide appropriate linguistically and culturally sensitive services that promote health and well-being of the under served immigrants and refugees.

ACHI embodies a philosophy of community-building across cultures to build both individual and group identity.  By defining �health� in a holistic manner, ACHI strives to address issues of community health through the five areas of health (physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual).

ACHIs over-all goal is to strive and enrich the livelihood of the vulnerable African Immigrants and refugee. To achieve its goal, ACHI uses the following model with five unique and interconnected approaches:
